No. Gradely requires zero registration, email, or passwords. You can start immediately on first launch: select your institution and programme, and your academic profile is ready.

Open the Calculator tab, choose the semester level and academic year, and add your courses with their credit hours and grades. When you tap "Save Semester", Gradely records it into your academic journey and updates your cumulative standing instantly.

Yes. On the Semesters tab, tap any semester card to open its detail view, or tap the three dots menu (•••) to edit the semester in Calculator or remove it entirely.

For institutions using CWA (such as KNUST), Gradely multiplies each course's numeric mark (or converted grade midpoint) by its credit weighting, sums the weighted marks, and divides by total credit hours taken across all semesters.

For institutions using GPA scales (such as UG Legon, UCC, or Technical Universities), Gradely multiplies each course's grade point (e.g. 4.0 for A, 3.5 for B+, etc.) by its credit value, sums the grade points, and divides by the total credit hours.

Gradely automatically calculates official degree classifications based on your selected institution's handbook — including First Class, Second Class Upper, Second Class Lower, Third Class, and Pass (or Distinction, Credit, Pass for diploma and nursing programmes).

Yes. You can edit the exact grade point mapping under Settings → Grade Scale. If your institution is not yet in our verified list, you can submit an institution request directly through the app or WhatsApp.

The Result Scanner uses on-device optical character recognition combined with AI models to extract course titles, codes, credit hours, and grades from printed result sheets. For privacy, student names, index numbers, and sensitive personal identifiers are strictly ignored.

You can ask academic strategy questions such as "How will a B+ in a 4-credit course affect my CWA?", "What is the Continuous Assessment ratio for my faculty?", or "What is the best way to recover from a difficult semester?"

Gradely provides a generous daily allowance of AI queries (such as result scans and advisor questions), which automatically resets every 24 hours.

The Timetable builds a weekly study plan tailored to the courses and credit weights in your current semester. You can customize session hours, mark sessions complete, track total weekly study time, and enable iOS study reminders.

Gradely lets you export high-resolution (3x) formatted result cards as images to share with parents, sponsors, or study groups. You can also export your complete academic history as a clean CSV spreadsheet for personal archiving.

Your academic records, courses, grades, and profile information are stored strictly on your local device. We do not store your grades on our servers or link them to your personal identity.

You can use the "Reset All Data" option in Settings to wipe all stored records from your iPhone. Deleting the app also permanently removes all local data.
